Up to 3 Million KRW Support for Youth Groups and Organizations
Yongsan-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Park Hee-young) is publicly recruiting participants for the ‘2025 Youth Local Connection Activity Contest Project.’
This project is designed to support youth club activities and local connection public interest activities to discover creative ideas and strengthen autonomous community exchanges. Last year, the project name was changed after adding support for local connection public interest activities to the ‘2024 Youth Club Activity Contest Project.’
The recruitment target is groups or organizations composed of youth aged 19 to 39 (born between 1986 and 2006). As of the announcement date, the group must have at least three members, and at least two-thirds of the members must reside or be active in Yongsan-gu. Youth organizations must have both the representative’s residence and the organization’s location in Yongsan-gu.
The contest fields include support for club activities and support for local connection public interest activities. It supports activities for discovering youth culture and forming communities, as well as local connection activities such as public issue-solving idea projects.
The support scale is a total of five teams. The district plans to provide activity funds up to 3 million KRW per team on a differential basis. The selection results will be announced at the end of this month after screening, and the selected projects will operate until November.
Those wishing to participate can visit the Youth Policy Team, Job Policy Division, 8th floor of Yongsan-gu Office by the 7th to apply, or submit their application via email to the district office contact person. For application documents and other detailed information, scan the QR code in the promotional materials or check the Yongsan-gu Office website.
District Mayor Park Hee-young stated, “I hope many creative ideas for fostering youth culture and solving local issues will be proposed,” and added, “We will continue to actively support various youth activities and opportunities for participation in district administration.”
Meanwhile, last year, the district successfully supported five youth teams, including projects such as ▲Reading, Writing, and Speaking to Improve Youth Literacy ▲Guseok Guseok Cultural Arts Group ▲Yongsan-gu Unemployed Youth Mental Health Support Website Project.
