Gyeonggi-do to Recruit 'Resident Online Instructors' in Lifestyle and Hobby Fields Until March

Gyeonggi Province is publicly recruiting online instructors in the lifestyle and hobby fields to be active on the Gyeonggi Lifelong Learning Portal ‘GSEEK’ until the end of March.

Gyeonggi Province has been promoting a project to train residents with knowledge and know-how as online instructors every year and develop content, and so far, about 100 resident online instructors have been active.

This year’s recruitment fields are Homemade Dessert Making (February 3?28) and Special Fashion Made with Sewing (March 4?28), totaling two fields. Anyone who is a resident of Gyeonggi Province as of the recruitment date can apply individually or as a team.

Once selected as a resident online instructor, applicants will receive training on educational content planning, speech education, lecture strategies, and one-on-one consulting from current professional instructors before starting lecture production.

The content will be uploaded to the GSEEK platform and shared with residents. If learners have questions about the educational content, the instructor will directly respond and participate in course management.

Applications can be submitted by selecting ‘Apply for Resident Online Instructor’ from the ‘More’ menu at the top of the Gyeonggi Province GSEEK website (gseek.kr), downloading and filling out the application form, and submitting it as a compressed file along with a video of about 3 minutes introducing the lecture. For detailed information on how to apply as a resident online instructor and use the GSEEK service, please contact the Learning Support Center at 1600-0999.

Gyeonggi Province will select resident online instructors by field in March and April through screening based on the submitted applications and videos.

Meanwhile, last year, 120 people applied for 8 recruitment spots, showing a competition rate of about 13 to 1.
