Samsung Electronics has launched the 'Samsung Interior Fit Kit,' which allows for easy installation of system air conditioners without the need for ceiling lowering construction.
The Samsung Interior Fit Kit is a panel that replaces the ceiling lowering construction previously required for installing system air conditioners in older apartments or houses where the space between the ceiling and exterior wall is narrow.
Ceiling lowering construction required additional work such as cutting the interior ceiling wall, carpentry, and wallpapering, taking 2 to 3 days to complete. It also lowered the ceiling height and caused protrusions in the construction area, which was aesthetically unpleasing.
The Samsung Interior Fit Kit connects the ceiling and system air conditioner seamlessly without any gaps, preserving the atmosphere of the space.
It applies the wind-free hole design of Samsung’s Wind-Free system air conditioner, harmoniously integrating the system air conditioner as if it were a single product.
The installation method is simple and can be completed in one day. The kit is installed by perforating the exterior ceiling wall, and the system air conditioner is then mounted onto the installed kit.
The Samsung Interior Fit Kit is compatible with all models of Samsung’s home Wind-Free system air conditioners, which feature customized AI functions and a comfortable wind-free mode without direct airflow.
It is available for purchase at Samsung Stores nationwide, priced between 180,000 and 190,000 KRW depending on the size.
