Yongsan-gu, Recruiting Students for Learning-Based Job Training Course Until the 12th

Qualification-linked Program for Training Experts

Yongsan-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Park Hee-young) is recruiting students for the first session of the 2025 Learning-type Job Program until the 12th of this month.

The learning-type job program is a qualification-linked program for training experts, supporting participants to obtain professional instructor qualifications, and providing opportunities to grow as professional instructors through talent-sharing activities after the course ends.

The courses being offered are the ‘Korean-style Enneagram Instructor Qualification Course’ and the ‘AI ChatGPT Professional Instructor Qualification Course.’ They will be held in the large lecture room at the Yongsan-gu Lifelong Learning Center (224-19 Itaewon-ro, Yongsan-gu, 2nd floor of Hannam-dong Public Parking Lot Complex Cultural Center), with a capacity of 25 people per course. Any Yongsan-gu resident aged 20 or older can enroll, but priority is given to residents aged 55 or older to develop senior human resources. After completing the course, participants must engage in talent-sharing instructor activities at least twice.

The ‘Korean-style Enneagram Instructor Qualification Course’ will be held ▲from February 17 to March 12 ▲twice a week (Monday and Wednesday) ▲from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM ▲for a total of 7 sessions. Through professional and systematic training on the nine personality types of the Enneagram, participants can work as experts in counseling, family, career, education, organization, management, and human resources fields. The tuition fee is 20,000 KRW (textbook and test materials cost an additional 70,000 KRW).

The ‘AI ChatGPT Professional Instructor Qualification Course’ will be held ▲from February 18 to March 13 ▲twice a week (Tuesday and Thursday) ▲from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM ▲for a total of 8 sessions. This course teaches how to use AI ChatGPT to find desired information and acquire new task performance skills based on it. The tuition fee is 10,000 KRW (textbook fee of 20,000 KRW is separate). Applications can be submitted through the Yongsan-gu Education Comprehensive Portal until February 12, and for more details, contact the Yongsan-gu Education Support Division.

Last year, 60 people obtained certifications through courses such as Walking Instructor, Senior Smartphone Utilization Instructor, and Book Play Instructor, among whom 16 became community instructors and conducted 13 talent-sharing lectures.

District Mayor Park Hee-young said, “Experts trained through the learning-type job program are sharing their talents, creating a virtuous cycle of learning and employment,” adding, “We will establish a lifelong learning ecosystem where Yongsan-gu residents are the owners and foster various experts to create a golden age of lifelong learning culture in Yongsan.”
