On the 31st, the Seoul Central District Court announced that President Yoon's case, in which he was arrested and indicted on charges of leading a rebellion, has been assigned to the 25th Criminal Division. However, no trial schedule has been set yet.

Earlier, the Special Investigation Headquarters for Emergency Martial Law under the prosecution (Headed by Park Se-hyun, Seoul High Prosecutors' Office Chief Prosecutor) failed to extend the detention period due to repeated court denials, but based on the investigation results from the High-ranking Officials' Crime Investigation Office (Gong-su-cheo) and the investigation results on the military and police leadership accused of engaging in important duties, they judged that proving the charges was possible and indicted President Yoon on the 26th.

President Yoon is accused of conspiring with former Minister of National Defense Kim and others to incite a riot with the purpose of disturbing the constitutional order by declaring unconstitutional and illegal emergency martial law despite the absence of signs of war, armed conflict, or comparable national emergencies. He is also accused of mobilizing the military and police to blockade the National Assembly to obstruct the resolution to lift the emergency martial law, and attempting to arrest and detain key figures such as National Assembly Speaker Woo Won-sik, Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, former People Power Party leader Han Dong-hoon, and staff of the Central Election Commission.
