This year, the Youth Participation Point System is open to any youth aged 19 to 39 who reside in Uijeongbu City. Points are accumulated based on the level of participation in various activities, and the accumulated points are paid out in local currency (Uijeongbu Sarang Card).

Participants will be recruited through the Jababa Apply app from 9 a.m. on the 31st until 6 p.m. on February 28. The participation period is from March to November.

Points can be earned according to accumulation criteria such as a welcome bonus upon registration, promotion of city administration participation, and suggestions. The initial conversion requires meeting 20,000 points, and thereafter, conversion applications can be made in units of 5,000 points. Conversion applications are limited to a total of 100,000 points per person annually (30,000 points per quarter).

Mayor Kim Dong-geun said, “We hope that the Youth Participation Point System will increase young people’s interest in Uijeongbu City,” and added, “We will continue to support many young people and provide opportunities where they can demonstrate their potential and creativity.”
