Recruiting Original Phrases of Up to 30 Characters That Suit the Spring Season
Six Works to Be Selected Through Review by the Message Selection Committee... Grand Prize Winner to Receive 500,000 KRW in Seoul Love Gift Certificates
Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi) is holding a contest for the spring edition of the 'Jungnang Happiness Message Board' to convey warm emotions and comfort to residents along with the approaching spring season.
The contest period is from February 3 to February 14. The theme is a purely original phrase within 30 characters that fits the season of spring, resonates with all generations, and contains warm emotions to offer comfort.
Any resident of Jungnang-gu or anyone working at a business within the area can submit one entry per person.
Original phrases can be submitted through the Jungnang-gu Office website → Citizen Participation → Internet Application section. If online submission is difficult, entries can also be submitted by visiting the Administrative Support Division of Jungnang-gu Office or by mail.
After submission, the phrases will be reviewed by a selection committee composed of internal and external members. A total of six works will be selected from the submissions, with one grand prize winner receiving 500,000 KRW and five runners-up each receiving 100,000 KRW, totaling approximately 1,000,000 KRW in Seoul Love Gift Certificates.
The selected grand prize work will be displayed on the exterior wall of the Jungnang-gu Office building from March to May, accompanied by a design that suits the phrase.
Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi of Jungnang-gu said, “We hope for many residents’ interest and participation in this ‘Jungnang Happiness Message Board’ as well,” and added, “Please submit many warm and emotional phrases that fit the spring season.”
In the last winter edition contest, Park Su-jin’s phrase, “A warm word given to someone is the spring of this winter,” was selected as the grand prize winner.
