Buk-gu Gwangju to Recruit 13 New Members for District Choir

Gwangju Buk-gu District is recruiting new members for its district choir (Buk-gu Choir and Senior Choir) until the 7th of next month.

According to the district office on the 30th, a total of 13 members will be recruited, including 10 for the Buk-gu Choir and 3 for the Senior Choir.

As of the document submission date, applicants must have their resident registration address in Buk-gu. The Buk-gu Choir is open to women aged 20 to 64, while the Senior Choir is open to seniors aged 65 or older regardless of gender. Selected members are required to participate actively in regular rehearsals twice a week and various performances.

After document submission, a practical audition will be held at 2 p.m. on the 11th of next month at the Buk-gu Culture Center.

Applicants must perform one of six designated songs: Namchon, Bimok, Cheongsane Sallira, Mokryeonhwa, Dongsimcho, or Gohyangui Norae. After the audition, final members will be selected through an interview.

Applicants should submit the application form and required documents by the 7th of next month. For more details, refer to the district office website's notices or contact the Culture and Arts Division.
