A fire broke out near Exit 1 of Sindang Station in Jung-gu, Seoul, at around 8:17 a.m. on the 29th, causing Line 2 subway trains to pass through without stopping.
Seoul Metro stated, "At around 8:49 a.m., smoke entered from an external fire at Sindang Station, causing inbound and outbound trains to pass through without stopping," and added, "Passengers using Sindang Station are advised to use nearby stations."
The fire department is extinguishing the fire, and there have been no reported casualties so far.
