Voluntary Participation by Employees of Hoban Construction and Affiliates
Monthly Salary Donations to Share Warmth with the Community
Active in Kimchi-Making, Briquette Sharing, and Love Blood Donation Campaigns
Hoban Group employees, centered around the volunteer group ‘Hoban Sarang Nanum-i,’ have taken the lead in social contribution activities for 15 years, achieving a cumulative donation amount of 1 billion KRW, the company announced on the 24th. Employees of Hoban Group affiliates such as Hoban Construction, Daehan Electric Wire, and Hoban Hotel & Resort have voluntarily donated a portion of their monthly salaries to share warmth with the local community.
Since its launch in 2009, Hoban Sarang Nanum-i has consistently continued volunteer activities every month, visiting various facilities such as Seoul Grand Park, the War Memorial, and Caritas Love Restaurant to practice social contribution. At the end of the year, they actively participated in warmth-sharing events such as kimchi-making and briquette distribution, as well as the Love Blood Donation Campaign.
Hoban Sarang Nanum-i plans volunteer activities with the goal of long-term social structural improvement rather than short-term or one-time efforts, and realizes sustainable social contributions in solidarity with other companies and organizations.
Following the ‘Walking Together with the Socially Vulnerable’ roadmap announced last year, Hoban Group is also focusing on supporting future generations by conducting events such as first birthday parties for children from single-parent families, opening an integrated support center for pregnant women in crisis, and career exploration events for youth preparing for independence.
A Hoban Construction official said, “Raising 1 billion KRW through the voluntary participation of employees is a great achievement,” and added, “We will continue to realize the company’s social value through ongoing social contribution activities.”
