This time, a winter envoy group consisting of 80 members, 40 each to the Philippines and Cambodia, will engage in volunteer activities such as tree planting, environmental maintenance and education, and climate action campaigns on-site for three weeks from the 1st to the 18th of next month.
Governor Kim Dong-yeon, currently visiting Switzerland to attend the World Economic Forum (Davos Forum), conveyed via video message that "One of the major topics being discussed at the Davos Forum is climate change response," adding, "Gyeonggi Province has implemented the most advanced policies for climate change response, and the role of the envoy group in carrying this out is truly significant."
