During the six-day Lunar New Year holiday, Namyangju City will deploy 56 public officials daily to operate a comprehensive holiday task force consisting of 11 measures across four sectors: economy and welfare, environment and transportation, safety and health, and water and roads.

First, in the economy and welfare sector, a price stabilization task force will be operated during the holiday period to ease the burden on shopping expenses, and violations of commercial order such as excessive price increases will be intensively inspected.

Namyangju City will raise the incentive limit for the Namyangju Love Gift Certificate from 30,000 KRW to 50,000 KRW until March to activate consumption and domestic demand. In particular, a 3% cashback on the payment amount will be provided until the project budget is exhausted, with a maximum payment limit of 10,000 KRW per person.

In the environment and transportation sector, an emergency task force will be operated to manage household waste and alleviate traffic congestion during the holiday.

Major road traffic conditions and bus operation status will be monitored, and illegal parking issues caused by returning travelers will be proactively addressed through a crackdown team. Household waste will be collected on the 25th, 27th, and 28th according to the existing regional collection days, and areas without collection days will be handled after the holiday.

In the safety and health sector, an emergency medical situation room will be activated to prepare for emergencies. Information on medical institutions and pharmacies that are open will be provided, and citizens can check detailed information on the city’s website.

A Namyangju City official said, "Namyangju City will strive to create a holiday atmosphere that all citizens, including vulnerable groups, can enjoy without worrying about shopping expenses, ensuring no inconvenience to citizens," and added, "Please be cautious of safety accidents during the holiday period and have a warm Lunar New Year holiday sharing kindness."
