Professor Lee Seong-wook, head of the Innovation Support Project Group at Gyeongnam Information University (President Kim Tae-sang), received a commendation from the Minister of Education for his contributions to the implementation of the Innovation Support Project for Junior Colleges.
Gyeongnam Information University announced on the 24th that Professor Lee was recognized for successfully carrying out the 2nd cycle of the Junior College Innovation Support Project and received a commendation for his meritorious service.
The award ceremony took place at the ‘2024 Junior College Innovation Support Project Performance Dissemination Forum,’ jointly hosted by the Ministry of Education, the National Research Foundation of Korea, and the Junior College Innovation Support Project Development Council, held from the 21st to the 23rd at the Inter-Burgo Hotel in Daegu.
Professor Lee Seong-wook was evaluated for his role as head of the Innovation Support Project Group at Gyeongnam Information University, where he established a close network among the government, university, and local community to lead the cultivation of specialized technical talent through the Ministry of Education’s Junior College Innovation Support Project.
Professor Lee said, “I will put more effort into carrying out government support projects so that Gyeongnam Information University, a community college representing Busan, can develop further.”
