11 Commercial Banks to Operate Mobile Branches Offering ATM and New Bill Exchange Services
Some Airports to Provide 24/7 Currency Exchange Counters

Even if you haven't prepared new bills due to a busy schedule, there's no need to worry. Banks plan to operate mobile branches nationwide, including on highways, during the Lunar New Year holiday period for consumers' convenience. At these locations, you can exchange new bills as well as handle simple banking tasks such as account transfers and passbook updates.

According to the Financial Services Commission on the 25th, 11 commercial banks will operate 11 mobile branches capable of deposits, withdrawals, and new bill exchanges during the Lunar New Year holiday, and 10 flexible branches offering currency exchange and remittance services at highway rest areas and other locations such as airports and areas with a high concentration of foreign workers.

Shinhan Bank will operate a mobile branch with ATM services and new bill exchange available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the 24th and 25th at Hwaseong Rest Area (southbound) on the Seohaean Expressway. Additionally, from the 27th to the 30th, currency exchange services will be available from 4 p.m. to 4 a.m. at the Kangwon Land Casino branch in Jeongseon. Currency exchange services will also be provided at Gimpo Airport and Cheongju Airport during the same period.

Woori Bank will operate a mobile branch with ATM services and new bill exchange available on the 24th and 25th at Manghyang Rest Area (Busan direction). From the 25th to the 30th, currency exchange services will be available from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the currency exchange counters in Terminals 1 and 2 of Incheon Airport.

Hana Bank will operate a mobile branch at Yangjae Mannam Plaza Rest Area (southbound) on the 24th and 25th. Currency exchange services will also be available at the currency exchange counters in Terminals 1 and 2 of Incheon Airport from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

KB Kookmin Bank will open a mobile branch at Giheung Rest Area (southbound on the Gyeongbu Expressway) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the 24th. Currency exchange services are available 24/7 at Terminals 1 and 2 of Incheon International Airport.

NH Nonghyup Bank will provide ATM and new bill exchange services at Hanam Dream Rest Area on the Jungbu Expressway on the 24th and 25th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

In addition, regional banks such as Busan Bank, Gwangju Bank, Jeonbuk Bank, and Gyeongnam Bank will operate mobile branches at rest areas and train stations located in their respective regions.
