Seoul Area SMEs Share Lunar New Year Greetings with Seoul City Council Chairperson Choi Ho-jeong

800 Servings of Tteokguk Sets Delivered to Underprivileged Neighbors at Myeongdong Cathedral for Seollal

The Seoul Regional Headquarters of the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business (Kbiz) announced on the 23rd that it held a rice cake soup set delivery ceremony for underprivileged neighbors at Myeongdong Cathedral (Hanmaeum Hanmom Movement Headquarters) in collaboration with the Seoul Metropolitan Council.


This event was held to share 800 servings of rice cake soup sets, prepared with donations collected from the small and medium business community in celebration of Seollal, the traditional Korean Lunar New Year holiday, with neighbors in need.

The delivery ceremony was attended by Choi Ho-jung, Chairperson of the Seoul Metropolitan Council; Park Jong-seok, President of the Seoul Small and Medium Business Association; regional chairpersons of Seoul; Park Seung-chan, Head of the Seoul Regional Headquarters; and Father Lee Sang-yong of the Hanmaeum Hanmom Movement Headquarters.


Chairperson Choi expressed gratitude for the efforts and warmth of the small and medium business community and emphasized the importance of their role in the local community despite the sluggish economic situation. During the ceremony, time was also taken to listen to the on-site difficulties faced by the small and medium business sector.


The Seoul Regional Headquarters of the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business plans to continue various support activities for underprivileged neighbors and small and medium enterprises and small business owners in cooperation with the Seoul Metropolitan Council and the local community.
