Genesis announced on the 24th (local time) that it will unveil the GV60 Multipurpose Off-Road Driving Concept Car for the first time in the world at the Swiss Davos Forum event. This exhibition at an international event aims to showcase Genesis' driving and safety technologies to the global market.
From the 20th to the 24th local time, Genesis exhibited the 'GV60 Multipurpose Off-Road Driving Concept (GV60 Mountain Intervention Vehicle Concept)' at the Ameron Hotel in Davos, Switzerland, where the Davos Forum is held.
The 'GV60 Multipurpose Off-Road Driving Concept,' unveiled globally for the first time through this exhibition, is a model designed to safely perform reconnaissance and rescue support tasks even in rough terrain and severe weather conditions. It was designed with a primary focus on the safety of occupants and functionality for mission execution.
Since this concept is developed based on the electric GV60 production model, it features low noise and eco-friendliness, and it boasts excellent off-road performance by utilizing a high-performance electric motor. Additionally, it has the advantage of being able to supply power to rescue equipment installed in the vehicle through the V2L system.
In particular, it is equipped with infinite track-type wheels that enable driving even on snowy roads, allowing operation on various rough terrains. It includes ▲sports seats to secure occupants ▲emergency communication systems ▲medical supplies, enabling reconnaissance and rescue activities in extreme situations.
Furthermore, by mounting heavy equipment roof racks and modular hatch racks, the vehicle maximizes cargo space and allows for the installation of various equipment, expanding the vehicle's versatility.
The wheelhouses are equipped with large fender flares made of carbon fiber, which protect pedestrians from impact while minimizing damage to the vehicle, including the infinite track-type wheels.
Since 2023, Genesis has exhibited various concept vehicles at the Davos Forum, and it plans to continue strengthening brand awareness by showcasing its technological and design capabilities at major global events as a luxury automobile brand representing Korea.
At the Davos Forum, Genesis previously exhibited the 'Genesis X Concept' in 2023 and the 'X Snow Speadium Concept' in 2024.
