[Concall] Hyundai Motor: "Even if US General Tariffs Are Imposed, Impact Less Than Honda and Toyota"

On the 23rd, Hyundai Motor Company stated during the '2024 Q4 Earnings Conference Call' that they are analyzing the impact of the U.S. universal tariff scenario by scenario and preparing countermeasures. They added, "However, the negative effects of the universal tariff are not expected to be greater than those on competitors such as Toyota and Honda."

They continued, "Hyundai's production share in U.S. factories is close to 60% relative to sales, so we believe the impact will be limited," adding, "Honda imports 81% of its main models from Mexico, and Toyota also imports 100% of models like the Tacoma from Mexico."
