S-OIL Ulsan Plant Donates 1.5 Billion KRW
for Local Community Welfare and Support
On the 23rd, S-OIL Ulsan Plant delivered a donation of 1.5 billion KRW to the Ulsan Community Chest of Korea at Ulsan City Hall, attended by Kim Doo-gyeom, Mayor of Ulsan, Park Bong-soo, President of S-OIL Operations, and Jeon Young-do, Chairman of the Ulsan Community Chest of Korea, among others, as part of the Hope 2025 Sharing Campaign.

The neighborly love donation delivered by S-OIL on this day will be used through the Ulsan Community Chest of Korea for youth scholarship programs in the Ulsan area, winter energy poverty fuel support projects, support projects for vulnerable groups in the Onsan area, housing environment improvement projects for vulnerable groups, and safety equipment support for social welfare workers.
Park Bong-soo, President of S-OIL, said, “Under S-OIL’s corporate value of ‘sharing,’ we are pleased to deliver warmth of love to neighbors in need in the Ulsan area,” adding, “Going forward, S-OIL will continue to discover various social contribution projects needed by the local community and strive to become a company that grows together with the community.”
Jeon Young-do, Chairman of the Ulsan Community Chest of Korea, said, “In a situation where social welfare facilities and institutions face great difficulties due to cold weather and economic downturn, we are grateful for the generous donation decision again this year following last year,” and added, “We will ensure that the donation provided this time helps neighbors in need have a warm winter.”
S-OIL Ulsan Plant is conducting various social contribution activities for the development of the local community, not only with the Ulsan Community Chest of Korea but also with local social welfare organizations such as the Korean Red Cross Ulsan Branch and the Ulsan Council on Social Welfare.
