Jindo County Launches 'Price Stabilization Campaign' for Lunar New Year

Jindo County, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim Heesoo) announced on the 23rd that, in celebration of the Lunar New Year, a price stabilization campaign and a traditional market shopping event were held on the 22nd in the area of Jogeum Market in Jindo-eup.

During this event, Governor Kim Heesoo and relevant officials visited the traditional market, listened to the concerns of merchants, encouraged them, and promoted the revitalization of the local economy through increased use of traditional markets.

A county official stated, "We are doing our best to stabilize prices and revitalize the traditional market during the Lunar New Year," and added, "We hope that this campaign will help boost the local economy and allow both residents and returning visitors to enjoy a prosperous and warm holiday."

Meanwhile, to ensure that residents and tourists can conveniently use the traditional market, the county is carrying out renovation projects for market facilities, implementing country-of-origin labeling for agricultural and marine products within the market to enhance reliability, and frequently monitoring price trends.
