"'Yoon Supporter Woman Arrested Then Missing Rumors' Debunks Herself: 'I Was Questioned as a Man and Released'"

Appearing Directly Amid 'Missing Person' Rumors
"21-Year-Old Man... Did Not Cross-Dress"
"Arrested for Carrying a Concealed Weapon"

On the day President Yoon Suk-yeol was detained, a supporter carrying a metal crowbar near the Constitutional Court was arrested by the police. When rumors spread that he was a 'cross-dressing man,' the individual himself came forward to clarify.

On the 22nd, a video was posted on an online community showing supporter A, who was carrying a metal crowbar called a 'bbalu' near Exit 2 of Anguk Station on the 19th, the day President Yoon Suk-yeol was detained. In the video, A is seen wearing a white jacket, with both arms being held as he was dragged away. He held the metal crowbar in one hand and struggled, bracing his legs and resisting.

When the person filming asked, "Why are you taking him away?" the police responded, "He is a man. Not a woman." When the filmer pressed, "What kind of man? Look at his body, isn't he a woman? Are you blind?" the police said, "He is a cross-dressing man. He is definitely a man. Go," stopping the person following them. However, the filmer protested again, "I'm filming with my phone, why do I have to leave?" The police explained, "He is carrying a weapon. He has a bbaru. It was reported as concealed weapon possession." Despite this, the filmer retorted, "Do I have a weapon? Whether I go or not is my choice," and asked, "Isn't this Korea?"

Later, on the DC Inside 'People Power Party Gallery,' posts appeared claiming that the person identified as the cross-dressing man had gone missing after being forcibly taken by the police, with titles such as "A young woman was forcibly taken by the police and is missing" and "Looking for the missing female student taken by the police." In response, A introduced himself as a "21-year-old man living in Daejeon" and posted, "I was not cross-dressing. I did not wear a bra, and I am not transgender."

He continued, "I carried the bbaru up to the front of the Constitutional Court and was arrested on the spot for carrying a concealed weapon under the Minor Offenses Act. I was handed over to Jongno Police Station around 5:20 p.m. on the 18th," and explained, "I was detained at Gangbuk Police Station jail, underwent additional investigation, and was released at 7:44 p.m. on the 19th." He added, "The 89 cm metal bbaru was confiscated by the state," and stated, "The police arrest was an illegal detention, interpreting the law arbitrarily and failing to properly inform me of the Miranda rights. I expect a fine of 100,000 won and am looking into the appeal process."
