Since 2019, Dongseo University has been selected as an operating university for the University Job Center Project, providing onestop educational support services to enrolled students through the career and employment support system called I’M READY.

This year, the university was additionally selected for the Customized Employment Service for Enrolled Students Project, upgrading the system to a full-cycle growth support system called ‘I’M READY Plus’ and strengthening comprehensive support from career planning to employment and job change counseling for freshmen through to graduates.

In 2024, Dongseo University collaborated with universities in the Busan area to conduct various programs and events for local youth, and in connection with the Busan Northern Employment Center, provided diverse youth support programs such as psychological counseling to strengthen job-seeking mindset, company recruitment briefings, job mentoring, and company visits.

Additionally, by operating the ‘Youth Employment Supporters’ to promote youth employment policies, the university provided practical assistance to local youth. Due to these achievements, Dongseo University received a commendation from the Minister of Employment and Labor in January for contributions to youth employment activation.

In particular, through the Customized Employment Service for Enrolled Students, in addition to providing career and employment consulting, courses, and programs, activity support funds were provided based on individual student activities to help students focus on strengthening their career and employment capabilities during their studies. This resulted in high satisfaction among enrolled students and recognition for various support efforts for local youth, leading to the great achievement of being selected as an "Excellent University," the highest grade in the University Job Plus Center Project.

Jung Do-woon, Director of the University Job Plus Center, stated, “We will continue to do our best to discover quality jobs and support demand-centered career and employment services through ongoing industry-academia exchanges with local related organizations and companies.”
