Some Households Paid Nearly 1 Million KRW for Heating
Last year, the apartment with the highest maintenance fee nationwide was found to be located in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
According to the "2024 Maintenance Fee Summary Report" released on the 21st by Apartment AI, an apartment living support platform that analyzed nationwide apartment maintenance fees from last year, the apartment with the highest monthly maintenance fee was in Hannam-dong, with a fee reaching 7,629,430 KRW per month. This maintenance fee applies to a single general household, excluding commercial and other non-residential complexes.
Hannam-dong is an area densely populated with luxury complexes such as "Nine One Hannam" and "Hannam The Hill," which are valued in the tens to hundreds of billions of KRW.
It was also found that some households were charged up to 999,997 KRW for monthly heating fees. Apartment AI explained that the data was compiled by aggregating approximately 40 million maintenance fee inquiry records nationwide from last year.
Meanwhile, Apartment AI is an apartment-exclusive application that supports maintenance fee payments for over 33,000 apartment complexes and collective buildings nationwide. It offers features such as maintenance fee inquiry and payment, parcel reservation, resident voting, community functions, and fire safety inspections for households via mobile and PC.
