Namyangsan City in Gyeongnam, led by Mayor Na Dong-yeon, is posting a video letter encouraging consumption by citizens and businesses.

Starting from the morning of January 23, the video letter posted on Namyangsan City's official YouTube channel features Mayor Na Dong-yeon appealing, "I ask all citizens to join forces to revitalize the local economy and restore the domestic economy."

Namyangsan City requested that people visit local neighborhood stores instead of large online shopping malls, and explore local attractions on weekends. The city also urged companies to encourage employee gatherings and dining out, and asked citizens to hold meetings at local restaurants to spend harmonious time together.

At the end of the letter, Mayor Na Dong-yeon promised various city-level policy initiatives, stating, "Our city will strive to ease the burden of consumer life by expanding benefits such as the Namyangsan Love Gift Certificate."
