Dongducheon City Public Officials Union Selects Best Department Head, City Council Member, and Colleague

The Dongducheon City Government Employees' Union in Gyeonggi announced on the 22nd that it had revealed the results of the 2024 second half Best Department Head, City Council Member, and Colleague selection survey held on the 20th, and presented certificates of appreciation and commemorative gifts.

The Dongducheon City Government Employees' Union conducted a survey targeting all union members on the 30th and 31st of last year to promote a horizontal communication between labor and management and to foster an organizational culture of respect between department heads and employees.

As a result, the Best Department Heads were selected as Kim Hye-kyung, Manager of the Welfare Policy Division, and Kim Kyung-su, Manager of the Sports and Tourism Division; the Best City Council Members were Kim Seung-ho, Chairperson of the City Council, and Kwon Young-gi, City Council Member; and the Best Colleague was Gu Ja-young, Administrative Officer.

The reasons for selection included organizational harmony and exemplary leadership for executive officials, responsibility and fair and transparent legislative activities for city council members, and dedication to colleagues and superiors as well as efforts for organizational harmony for the administrative officer.

Chairperson Kim Young-ran stated, "I hope this project will not only create an environment where department heads and employees can work based on respect and trust but also serve as a bridge connecting the city and the city council."
