Launch of 'Hyundai Genesis Selection'

Hyundai Motor Company announced on the 22nd that it will launch the mobility subscription platform 'Hyundai Genesis Selection,' which has been integrated and reorganized with Genesis.

The subscription platform is a vehicle subscription service that allows customers to rent various Hyundai vehicles through a mobile app on a daily or monthly basis as much as they want, and the service started in 2019.

Hyundai Motor Company integrated the platforms that were previously divided between Hyundai and Genesis to expand the selection range. Five core Genesis brand models, including the GV80, were added, increasing the number of subscription models from 20 to 25.

The five Genesis models will initially be operated as monthly subscriptions in the Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon areas. The scope of service provision, including models, regions, and subscription methods (daily or monthly), will be gradually expanded in the future.

In addition, customer benefits related to fees and payments, which were only applied to Hyundai models, will be equally applied to Genesis models. Until the end of this year, new subscribers will receive one each of the following coupons: ▲10% discount coupon for 1-month Genesis subscription ▲10% discount coupon for 1-month Hyundai subscription ▲20% discount coupon for daily Hyundai subscription.

Existing Hyundai Selection subscribers who newly subscribe to the added Genesis models will also receive a 10% discount coupon for a 1-month Genesis subscription. Long-term subscription additional discount benefits will also be expanded to Genesis models, providing up to an additional 9% discount.

Payment conveniences such as Blue Members points accumulation (0.5% of payment amount), payment of subscription fees using points (up to 20% of the subscription fee, with an annual limit of 1 million KRW), and Hyundai Group’s simple payment service ‘Hyundai Pay’ will also be expanded to Genesis models.

A Hyundai Motor Company official said, "We have reorganized the subscription platform so that customers who want subscription services from mass-market to premium vehicle classes can have more convenient and diverse experiences," adding, "We will continue to expand the new car lineup and prepare customer experience events to provide new mobility experiences to more customers."
