Gwangjin-gu, Gwangjin365Plus Pharmacy (Cheonho-daero) Designated as Additional 'Public Late-Night Pharmacy'

Gwangjin-gu (District Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) designated a new 'Public Late-Night Pharmacy' on the 20th to allow residents to purchase medicines even late at night.

The Public Late-Night Pharmacy operates regardless of nights or holidays, open 365 days until late at night. It operates from 10 PM to 1 AM the next day, reducing inconvenience and the hassle of searching for a pharmacy.

This year, Gwangjin 365 Plus Pharmacy (566 Cheonho-daero), located in Neung-dong, was designated. It is easily accessible near Gunja Station on subway lines 5 and 7, which pass through Cheonho-daero and Neungdong-ro.

The pharmacy operates daily from 9 AM to 1 AM the next day. However, it is closed for a break on Saturdays from 2 PM to 10 PM. Both over-the-counter medicine purchases and prescription dispensing are available, and consultations with professional pharmacists can be received, which is expected to be a great help to patients with mild symptoms.

The Classic Pharmacy (90 Neungdong-ro), which operated as a public night pharmacy last year, is also available at night. Its operating hours are from 9 AM to midnight.

The status of Public Late-Night Pharmacies can be checked on the 'Holiday Keeper Pharmacy' website, and for more details, inquiries can be made to the Gwangjin-gu Public Health Center.

Kim Kyung-ho, Mayor of Gwangjin-gu, said, "We designated a new Public Late-Night Pharmacy to help residents who suddenly fall ill or need medicine in the middle of the night. Please check the locations of pharmacies in preparation for emergencies," and added, "We will continue to do our best to eliminate medical blind spots and ensure that residents can safely and conveniently enjoy medical services."
