Ages 9 to 24...
Apply at Administrative Welfare Center or Online via Welfare-ro

Gwangju Buk-gu is accepting applications for the 'Special Support Program for At-Risk Youth' until the 31st.

According to the district office on the 21st, this program provides tailored services to youth facing social and economic difficulties, supporting their healthy growth and independence.

Eligible applicants are youth aged 9 to 24 whose household income is at or below 100% of the median income, including delinquent or at-risk youth, out-of-school youth, youth without guardian protection, and reclusive youth.

The support period is up to one year. Selected participants will receive customized services in eight areas, including daily living, health, academics, and independence, funded by a total of 106 million KRW from national and local budgets.

Applications can be submitted by the youth themselves, guardians, social workers, or youth counselors by visiting the local administrative welfare center with the required documents, or online through the Welfare-ro website.

After an income assessment and review by the Youth Welfare Deliberation Committee, the final list of recipients and support details will be confirmed in February. Selected youth will receive monthly benefits at the end of each month for tailored services.

Details on required documents can be found in the district office's official announcement. For further information, contact the district office's Child and Youth Department or the local administrative welfare center.
