On the morning of the 21st at 7 a.m., the Yangsan Chamber of Commerce and Industry held a breakfast seminar in the conference hall on the 5th floor of the Chamber building, attended by over 120 company executives and employees from the area.

At this seminar, Yangsan Mayor Na Dong-yeon was invited as the first speaker of the new year 2025 and gave a lecture for about 60 minutes on the 2024 achievements of Yangsan city administration and the 2025 city administration operation direction and corporate support policies.
At the event, Mayor Na Dong-yeon emphasized stabilizing the people’s livelihood economy and provided detailed explanations on the five operational directions for the 2025 city administration goal of “Building Yangsan, a high-quality healing city where future value breathes through the vitality of the people’s livelihood economy”: △ Dynamic economy △ Refined culture △ Inclusive welfare △ Flawless safety △ Livable city, as well as corporate support policies. He also introduced new projects for 2025, such as the establishment of an industrial and technological innovation foundation and support projects for export-startup companies, urging companies to utilize these to enhance their competitiveness.
He further explained the outlook for the Korean economy amid unstable global conditions and stressed that overcoming the difficult economic environment both domestically and internationally requires cooperation between the city and companies, along with accurate diagnosis of the crisis and proactive responses to the rapidly changing economic environment.
In his closing remarks, Mayor Na mentioned the economic difficulties caused by weakened consumer sentiment and sluggish domestic demand, emphasizing that revitalizing the daily life economy is crucial to overcoming these challenges.
Mayor Na Dong-yeon of Yangsan said, “The creative ideas and innovative spirit of challenge from businesspeople will be the key to overcoming the current difficulties,” and added, “I ask for the active cooperation of businesspeople regarding various policies to revitalize the local economy, such as revitalizing neighborhood commercial districts, and Yangsan city will also spare no effort in cooperation and support for companies.”
