"The Work I Wanted to Make the Most"
CJ ENM announced on the 21st that director Park Chan-wook's film 'Eojjeol Su-ga Eopda' completed its five-month shooting on the 15th. The work depicts Yoo Man-su, who was suddenly fired from his company, attempting to find reemployment to protect his wife, two children, and the house he struggled to acquire. The film attracted attention even before filming for being the first acting collaboration between actors Lee Byung-hun and Son Ye-jin. Park Hee-soon, Lee Sung-min, Yum Hye-ran, Cha Seung-won, and Yoo Yeon-seok also appeared. After post-production, it is expected to be released as early as this year.
Director Park said, "It seems to have been about 17 years since I started writing the screenplay based on the novel 'THE AX,'" adding, "I am deeply moved to have completed filming a work I have wanted to make the most for a long time."
