Playing a Central Role in Labor Relations and Regional Economic Development
On the 20th, Gyeongsan City in Gyeongbuk announced that it held the first 2025 Gyeongsan City Labor-Management-Government-Civil Council meeting in the city hall's small conference room.

The Labor-Management-Government-Civil Council is a social dialogue body composed of experts from various sectors of society, including workers, employers, residents, and local government officials. Since its launch in September 2023, it has played a key role in regional labor policy through deliberation and discussion of employment and labor issues.
This meeting began with the appointment ceremony for new members, followed by sharing the progress and plans for the 2024 Labor-Management-Government-Civil initiatives, exchanging opinions, and deliberating and approving the council secretariat operation regulations.
Based on the approved operation plan, Gyeongsan City plans to open the Labor-Management-Government-Civil Council secretariat in the first half of the year. Through this, it is expected to contribute to the sound development of the citizens' economy and social stability by operating the council's projects professionally and efficiently.
Cho Hyun-il, Mayor of Gyeongsan City, stated, "In a difficult domestic and international economic environment, labor, management, government, and civil sectors must cooperate and communicate to overcome the crisis and strive for economic recovery," and added, "I ask for the active cooperation of the council members."
