Explanation of New Year's County Administration Vision and Operational Direction
Busan Gijang-gun will hold the '2025 Visiting County Administration Briefing' starting from the 20th to welcome the New Year of Eulsa.
The county administration briefing was organized to implement 'open administration' by having Jeong Jong-bok, the head of Gijang-gun, and senior officials visit residents directly to explain the county's vision and operational direction for the new year and communicate directly with residents from all walks of life.
The briefing will be held on a tour of five eup and myeon from the 20th starting with Jangan-eup until the 24th, with the first briefing held at the Dongbusan Nonghyup Headquarters in Jangan-eup.
On this day, about 250 people including County Head Jeong Jong-bok, senior county officials, Gijang-gun council members, representatives of various organizations, and local residents attended. The event proceeded in the order of ▲Eup Chief's Report (Jangan-eup Chief) ▲Major County Administration Explanation (Director of Planning and Audit Office) ▲Dialogue with Residents (Gijang-gun Head).
The county shared major local priority projects and various newly implemented policies for this year, explaining key county administration issues. They also listened directly to the vivid voices from the field of residents and sought solutions together.
County Head Jeong Jong-bok said, “We will actively reflect the valuable opinions of residents in the county administration after thorough review,” and added, “In the new year, we will continue communication with residents to lead a county administration that resonates with the citizens.”
The visiting county administration briefing will continue communication with residents in the order of ▲Gijang-eup on the 21st ▲Cheolma-myeon on the 22nd ▲Ilgwang-eup on the 23rd ▲Jeonggwan-eup on the 24th.
