Jung Sung-kwan, Chairman of Woori Children's Medical Foundation, received a Presidential Citation. He is the only medical professional among the 10 awardees.
Woori Children's Medical Foundation announced on the 20th that Chairman Jung Sung-kwan received the Presidential Citation on the 13th. The foundation operates a pediatric and adolescent specialized hospital designated by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
This citation was awarded in recognition of Chairman Jung's active participation in the Ministry of Health and Welfare's regional cooperation network pilot project to improve the medical delivery system for pediatrics and adolescents, and for resolving gaps in pediatric care through the operation of Dalbit Children's Hospital.
Additionally, Chairman Jung contributed to the improvement of the specialized hospital system by providing various opinions on the designation and evaluation criteria of specialized hospitals. He is also known to have significantly helped alleviate the pediatric open-run phenomenon by introducing a web-based mobile registration and payment system free of charge to enhance patient convenience.
