[Weather] Cloudy and Mild Holiday in Gwangju and Jeonnam on the 19th

On the 19th, Gwangju and Jeonnam will experience mostly cloudy skies with relatively mild weather.

On this day, Gwangju and Jeonnam will be mostly clear under the influence of a high-pressure system moving eastward over the southern sea, but clouds will increase from the afternoon.

The morning's lowest temperatures are expected to be -4 degrees Celsius in Gokseong and Boseong; -3 degrees in Jangseong, Damyang, Hampyeong, Yeongam, Jangheung, Haenam, Hwasun, and Naju; -2 degrees in Muan, Suncheon, Gurye, and Goheung; -1 degree in Gwangju and Gangjin; 0 degrees in Jindo and Gwangyang; 1 degree in Mokpo and Wando; and 2 degrees in Shinan.

The day's highest temperatures will be 12 degrees in Suncheon and Gwangyang; 11 degrees in Yeongam, Jangheung, Haenam, Gangjin, and Goheung; 10 degrees in Gwangju, Hampyeong, Shinan, Muan, Naju, Hwasun, Jangseong, Damyang, Gurye, Mokpo, Jindo, Boseong, and Yeosu; and 9 degrees in Yeonggwang, showing higher levels than the previous day.

Wave heights in the West Sea and South Sea coastal waters will be around 0.5 meters. Both Gwangju and Jeonnam will see 'moderate' fine dust levels, while ultrafine dust will remain at a 'bad' level until the morning.

An official from the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration said, "As thin ice is expected on roads with low temperatures, such as back roads, alleys, sloped roads, and shaded roads, please pay attention to traffic and pedestrian safety."
