Choi Sang-mok, Acting President and Deputy Prime Minister as well as Minister of Strategy and Finance, visited the accident site after attending the '12.29 Jeju Air Passenger Plane Disaster Victims Joint Memorial Ceremony' held at Muan International Airport in Jeonnam on the 18th.
Bereaved families and officials from the disaster response authorities visited the accident site following the joint memorial ceremony to pay their respects to the victims.
On that day, Acting President Choi stated at the joint memorial ceremony, "We will make every effort to clearly identify the cause of the accident and promptly prepare the necessary improvement measures," adding, "We will transparently disclose all investigation progress and provide detailed information to the bereaved families."
