Yangju City Recruits 10 Members for 'Delinquent Tax Management Team' to Conduct Delinquent Taxpayer Survey

Employment period from April 1 to October 31

Yangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kang Su-hyun) announced on the 18th that it will accept applications for the ‘2025 Delinquent Tax Management Team,’ which will conduct a delinquent taxpayer status survey for three days from February 12 to 14.

The total number of recruits is 10 (combining telephone counseling and status survey), and the working period is scheduled from April 1 to October 31, with work hours of 6 hours per day, 5 days a week.


After completing education on local taxes and non-tax revenue delinquent taxes, telephone counselors will be responsible for delinquency counseling, organizing delinquency data, and sending payment guidance letters, while status surveyors will conduct status surveys through visits and consultations with delinquent taxpayers, provide information on delinquency facts, promote payment, and listen to difficulties.


Applicants must be Yangju citizens aged 18 or older with resident registration in the jurisdiction as of the recruitment announcement date to be posted on February 3. They can download and fill out the application form from the city’s website and apply in person at the Delinquent Tax Management Team, Collection Division, 1st floor of Yangju City Hall.


The recruitment process will consist of a first document screening and a second interview, with the final successful candidates to be confirmed in March.

A Yangju City official stated, “The operation of the Delinquent Tax Management Team is expected to contribute to creating public jobs for vulnerable groups, promoting fair taxation, stabilizing citizens’ livelihoods, and fostering a sound taxpaying consciousness among citizens.” He added, “Delinquent taxpayers in livelihood difficulty who fall into welfare blind spots will be supported through linkage with welfare projects.”
