According to Gapyeong County on the 17th, a total of 105 major on-site complaints were received from residents during these meetings. Governor Seo responded directly to residents' concerns on-site and plans to designate responsible departments for each issue to develop concrete solutions. Through this, the county aims to enhance the effectiveness of complaint handling and increase resident satisfaction.

In this activity, Governor Seo Taewon stated, "If 2024 was the year when the earnest wishes of the residents bore fruit with the designation of the border area, then in 2025, we will unite the will of the residents and move toward greater goals." He presented the promotion of the border area designation policy and the successful hosting of the Gyeonggi-do Comprehensive Sports Competition as the core objectives of this year's county administration.

During the meetings with residents, Governor Seo actively communicated with local village chiefs and organization leaders, carefully listening to the issues raised in each area. A county official said, "We expect this activity to be an important starting point for Gapyeong County's communication administration," adding, "We will promptly review residents' opinions and have the relevant departments prepare practical solutions."

Gapyeong County plans to continuously strengthen the collection of residents' opinions and focus on bringing about changes that county residents can feel.

Meanwhile, starting this year, Gapyeong County enhanced the substance of its communication with residents by transforming the 'Town and Township Visits' held at the beginning of the year into 'Meetings with Town and Township Residents.' In particular, ceremonial events were significantly reduced, and the resident dialogue time was extended from the previous 50 minutes to 100 minutes to gather a wider range of opinions.
