Gwangju Bitgoeul National Safety Experience Center conducted a "Fire Safety Experience Training" for foreign university students in the region on the 17th.


This training was organized to help foreign students develop the ability to protect themselves by learning how to respond to various disaster situations.


On this day, about 240 Mongolian international students currently attending Chosun University participated in the training. The program allowed them to learn fire safety skills and knowledge to respond quickly and effectively to various disaster situations such as mountain accidents, earthquakes, fires, daily life emergencies, and heavy rain.


Bitgoeul National Safety Experience Center has provided combined practical and theoretical fire safety experience training to 763 international students from 55 countries from 2023 to last year.


Lee Jeongja, Director of Bitgoeul National Safety Experience Center, said, "We will continue our efforts to help foreign students better adapt to the local community, understand the safety culture, and make safe behaviors a habit," adding, "We will also support more international students and citizens to use the center in the future."
