Visited Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic Together
Actress Kim Min-hee (42) has been revealed to be pregnant with the child of her cohabiting film director Hong Sang-soo (64).
On the 17th, Dispatch reported, "Kim Min-hee is naturally pregnant with director Hong Sang-soo's child and is currently six months into her pregnancy," adding, "The two found out about the pregnancy last summer, and the expected due date is this spring." According to the report, Director Hong has been with Kim Min-hee for all pregnancy confirmations, tests, and check-ups, and they even visited the obstetrics and gynecology clinic together on the 15th.

Director Hong moved out of the Apgujeong house where he lived with his legal wife and set up residence in Hanam, Gyeonggi Province, where Kim Min-hee's parents live. The two have lived together for several years, and have been spotted shopping together near their home.
Kim Min-hee and Hong Sang-soo have maintained an inappropriate relationship for nine years. They met as director and lead actress through the 2015 film Right Now, Wrong Then and admitted to their affair in 2017. Director Hong married a woman he met while studying in the United States in 1985 and has a daughter. He filed for divorce from his wife in 2016, but it was unsuccessful. In June 2019, after his divorce lawsuit was dismissed, he gave up on appealing. Although they do not appear together at official domestic events, they attend overseas film festivals together.
Meanwhile, Kim Min-hee starred in Director Hong’s 32nd feature film Introduction and won the Best Actress award at the Locarno International Film Festival last August. In her acceptance speech, she said, "Director Hong, who made such a beautiful film, I love your films so much," and "Thank you for letting me work with you." After receiving the award, Kim Min-hee was seen returning to her seat and resting her head on Director Hong’s shoulder, showing her joy.
