It has been reported that voice actor Lee Jae-myung (78), who played the nostalgic character 'Go Gil-dong' in the domestic animation 'Baby Dinosaur Dooly,' has passed away.
Voice actor Jung Sung-hoon announced the obituary on his social media account on the 15th, saying, "I sincerely pray for the repose of senior Lee Jae-myung."

The deceased was born in 1946 and started as a theater actor before joining KBS Voice Actor Troupe as part of the 13th class in 1971. The Voice Actor Troupe is a voice actor group operated by KBS. During the era when radio broadcasting was active, voice actors took on roles in radio dramas and narration for KBS programs. They also handled dubbing work for foreign films and animations imported by domestic broadcasters.
His representative works include the role of Go Gil-dong in the KBS-produced animation 'Baby Dinosaur Dooly,' Piglet in 'Winnie the Pooh,' and Frieza in SBS's 'Dragon Ball Z.' In addition, he participated in various works such as 'Fly Superboard,' 'Super Granzort,' 'Eunbi Kkabi's Once Upon a Time,' 'Alice in Wonderland,' and 'The Jungle Book,' making his voice well known. He was also famous for dubbing foreign films like 'Good Will Hunting,' 'Indiana Jones: The Lost Ark,' and 'Drunken Master.'
Known for his ability to handle a neutral tone and distinctive high pitch, he was praised for having a wide acting spectrum ranging from irritable middle-aged men to cunning villains and solemn characters. Based on these traits, he performed various roles.
He retired from the front lines after the 2005 film 'Jurassic Park III' and devoted himself to welfare for popular culture artists and nurturing future talents.
