On the 17th, Gwangju and Jeonnam will generally experience clear weather.


On this day, the temperatures in Gwangju and Jeonnam will remain clear under the influence of high pressure located over the West Sea, with morning temperatures similar to or slightly lower than the seasonal average.


The morning low temperatures are expected to be -6 degrees Celsius in Damyang and Gokseong, -5 degrees in Yeonggwang, Jangseong, Hampyeong, Yeongam, Naju, Hwasun, and Boseong, -4 degrees in Muan, Jangheung, Goheung, and Gurye, -3 degrees in Gwangju, Haenam, Gangjin, and Suncheon, -2 degrees in Gwangyang and Mokpo, 1 degree in Shinan and Wando, and 0 degrees in Jindo and Yeosu.


The daytime high temperatures will be 9 degrees Celsius in Suncheon, Gwangyang, and Goheung; 8 degrees in Gurye and Jangheung; 7 degrees in Gwangju, Naju, Haenam, Gangjin, Wando, and Yeosu; and 6 degrees in Hampyeong, Shinan, Muan, Yeongam, Jangheung, Hwasun, Boseong, Gokseong, Damyang, Jangseong, and Jindo, showing higher values compared to the previous day.


Waves in the West Sea will range from 0.5 to 1.5 meters, and in the South Sea from 0.5 to 1 meter. Both Gwangju and Jeonnam will see 'good' levels of fine dust concentration.


An official from the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration said, "In some areas of Gwangju and Jeonnam, icy roads and black ice are common due to recently accumulated snow, and visibility may be short in certain places, so we ask that you pay special attention to traffic safety."
