This project aims to revitalize the local economy and improve the quality of life for residents by providing stable jobs to Yangpyeong-gun residents through reducing the hiring burden on small and medium-sized enterprises within the region.

The eligibility criteria for companies participating in the Win-Win Happy Job Project are small and medium-sized enterprises with two or more regular employees, excluding business owners within Yangpyeong-gun, and they must comply with the minimum wage, enrollment in the four major social insurances, and all provisions of the Labor Standards Act.

Participating companies will be recruited on an ongoing basis until the budget is exhausted, and after company selection, recruitment of participating workers will begin in February to connect companies with participants.

Selected companies and participating workers will receive employment support funds of 1.8 million KRW each (2.7 million KRW for young workers) for up to nine months, including a three-month probation period, paid in installments upon conversion to regular employment. However, participating workers eligible for support must be newly hired workers through the county’s linkage after company selection; currently employed workers are excluded from support.

Jeon Jin-seon, Governor of Yangpyeong-gun, said, “I hope many local companies will participate in the Win-Win Happy Job Project and become the center of local economic revitalization,” adding, “We will continue to discover and actively promote various job policies to create quality jobs and ensure employment stability.”
