Gapyeong-gun Offers 2,000 Won Discount on Card Payments at 'Good Price' Businesses

Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi Province (Governor Seo Tae-won) announced on the 16th that a discount of 2,000 KRW per transaction will be provided when paying 10,000 KRW or more with cards from nine domestic card companies at ‘Good Price Stores’.

This discount event is conducted in various ways depending on the card company, such as cashback, billing discounts, and point rewards. The number of times and methods of benefits provided per month vary by card company. In particular, KB Kookmin Card and NH Nonghyup Card users can receive discount benefits starting from January, which is expected to be useful for preparing for the Lunar New Year holiday.

Good Price Stores is a system designated and operated by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and local governments since 2011, selected based on criteria such as affordable prices, hygiene and cleanliness, and public interest. Currently, Gapyeong-gun designates and manages 21 stores, contributing to the stability of residents' lives and the revitalization of the local economy.

The eligible stores can be checked on the ‘Good Price Stores Status’ board on the Gapyeong-gun Office website, and the event details by card company can be found on the respective card company’s website or app.
