Two People Selected per Market by the 20th of This Month
Operation Continues Until the End of December
Goseong-gun, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province (Governor Ham Myeong-jun) announced on the 16th that it will promote the ‘2025 Traditional Market Keeper Support Project’ to ensure stable operation and strengthen safety management of traditional markets.

This project will recruit one office operation staff and one facility management staff for each of the Ganseong and Geojin traditional markets. Priority will be given to experts in related fields, experienced individuals, vulnerable employment groups, and youth, and the project is planned to operate from February 3 to December 31.
The application period is until the 20th of this month. Applicants can download the application form from the Goseong-gun website, prepare additional required documents, and submit them in person to the Regional Economy Team of the Economic and Sports Division of Goseong-gun.
The selected traditional market keepers will support overall matters related to traditional market management and safety, including △disaster prevention activities and conducting store inspection days, △safety management and disinfection of traditional market facilities, △market surveillance patrols and emergency measures, and △crime prevention activities for fire prevention.
Moon Young-ju, head of the Regional Economy Team of Goseong-gun, stated, “Through the Traditional Market Keeper Support Project, we expect to improve services at the Ganseong and Geojin traditional markets and create a safe and pleasant market environment, contributing to market revitalization.”
