The police are considering summoning Kim Seong-hoon, Deputy Director of the Presidential Security Service, on the 17th and Lee Kwang-woo, Head of the Security Headquarters, on the 18th for investigation.
The Special Investigation Unit of the National Police Agency planned to arrest Deputy Director Kim and Head Lee on the 15th on charges of obstruction of official duties. However, the arrest was not carried out at the request of President Yoon Seok-yeol's office.
Earlier, the Seoul Western District Court issued arrest warrants for Deputy Director Kim and Head Lee, who had failed to comply with the police's three summons requests.
