On the 16th, Gwangju and Jeonnam will remain mostly cloudy until the morning, gradually clearing up in the afternoon.


Inland areas of Gwangju and Jeonnam may experience fog with visibility less than 1 km until the morning, and some regions may see raindrops of less than 1mm or snowfall of less than 1cm.


The morning's lowest temperatures are expected to be -5 degrees Celsius in Jangseong, Damyang, Gokseong, Hwasun, and Goheung; -4 degrees in Naju, Yeongam, Jangheung, Suncheon, Gurye, and Jangseong; -3 degrees in Gwangju, Yeonggwang, Hampyeong, Haenam, Gangjin, and Yeosu; 2 degrees in Muan; and -1 degree in Shinan, Mokpo, Jindo, and Wando.


The day's highest temperatures will be 8 degrees Celsius in Gangjin, Haenam, Wando, Jangheung, Goheung, Suncheon, and Gwangyang; 7 degrees in Gwangju, Jangseong, Hampyeong, Muan, Naju, Hwasun, Yeongam, Boseong, Gurye, Yeosu, Shinan, and Jindo; and 6 degrees in Yeonggwang, Damyang, Gokseong, and Mokpo, showing a higher range than the previous day.


Waves in the West Sea will range from 1.5 to 2.5 meters, and in the South Sea from 1 to 2.5 meters. Both Gwangju and Jeonnam will have 'good' levels of fine dust concentration.


An official from the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration said, "For the time being, icy roads and black ice will be common in Gwangju and Jeonnam, and there will be areas with short visibility, so please pay attention to traffic safety."
