Eight Companies Sign 14 Export and Investment Agreements
6,270 Visitors to Gwangju Joint Pavilion Showcasing Outstanding Products

Gwangju City, together with 15 local companies, achieved export consultation results totaling 371 cases and $57 million at 'CES 2025', the world's largest home appliance and information and communication technology (ICT) exhibition.
In particular, eight companies, including Inviz Co., Ltd., E-Soltech, IndieJ Co., Ltd., and OnionAI Co., Ltd., established a foothold for overseas expansion by signing one export contract and 14 business agreements, including investment agreements.
According to Gwangju City on the 15th, it participated in 'CES 2025', held in Las Vegas, USA from the 7th to the 10th, together with 15 local companies, operating two exhibition spaces simultaneously: the 'Gwangju Joint Pavilion' and the 'Gwangju Pavilion within the Integrated Korea Pavilion', showcasing the region's innovative technologies on the global stage.
'CES 2025', with the theme of 'AI (Artificial Intelligence)', attracted 4,500 institutions and companies from over 160 countries. The event served as a battleground for future industry technologies, including AI, discovering and exploring the impact of AI on various industries.
During the exhibition period, the Gwangju Pavilion attracted 6,270 visitors. Local companies held export consultations totaling 371 cases and $57 million with buyers from various countries.
Gwangju City, which has been focusing on fostering the AI industry, was evaluated as having established a foothold for further growth by showcasing its accumulated AI products and technologies to the global market and sharing new products and technologies with global big tech companies.
Notably, among the participating local companies, six companies, including GhostPass Co., Ltd., which won the top innovation award, received innovation awards, gaining recognition for Gwangju's innovative technologies on the global stage. Based on this, it is expected that local companies will continue to achieve results in pioneering overseas markets and revitalizing exports.
Gwangju City and the Gwangju Information & Culture Industry Promotion Agency plan to seek support measures to ensure that companies can continue to achieve additional results after the exhibition, as it is expected that product supply and business agreements with overseas buyers will continue even after the event.
Mayor Kang Gijung said, "This is our third year participating in CES. The number of Gwangju companies participating is increasing every year. Based on this, I believe that the capabilities and know-how of Gwangju companies will continue to accumulate, and the local economy will keep growing," adding, "Gwangju City and companies will work together to foster companies that will drive the region's future growth."
