Gwangsan District in Gwangju announced on the 15th that it will implement the 'Min Saeng Salpim Donghaeng' initiative, aimed at monitoring citizens' daily lives and communicating with the public.
This initiative is intended to ensure stability in citizens' lives and support the recovery of the local economy, especially as the nation faces ongoing political instability such as martial law and impeachment proceedings.
Starting on the 16th, the district will inspect the safety management of multi-use facilities and the working conditions at construction sites for apartment complexes.
Additionally, the district plans to visit major social welfare facilities for seniors, people with disabilities, and children, as well as the living environments of vulnerable groups, to identify their difficulties and listen to the concerns of local businesses.
In preparation for the Lunar New Year holiday, the district will also listen to the concerns of merchants in local commercial districts and traditional markets.
Park Byungkyu, the head of the district office, said, "Through the Min Saeng Salpim Donghaeng initiative, we will thoroughly address the needs of our citizens and reflect them in district administration."
