SCL Science Wins Contract for Development of C-LAB Management System with SCL Healthcare

Digital healthcare specialist SCL Science announced on the 15th that it has signed a development service contract for the C-LAB management system with SCL Healthcare. The contract period is until June 30, and the contract amount is a total of 1 billion KRW.

Through this development service, SCL Science will establish an efficient business process for C-LAB. Utilizing this, it plans to lay the foundation for the health data platform business, which is a future growth engine.

C-LAB of SCL Healthcare is a clinical trial specimen analysis institution equipped with internationally standardized facilities, established for the first time in Korea. Since 2006, it has accumulated references for conducting over 500 clinical trials to date.

An official from SCL Science stated, “This development service is a result created by proactively leading the digital transformation of the SCL Group following the next-generation IT development project of Hanaro Medical Foundation. We plan to internalize core digital capabilities such as data and artificial intelligence (AI) and to assetize related technologies and know-how through various projects within the group.”

He added, “By securing independent digital healthcare business capabilities, we will accelerate digital transformation for the growth of the SCL Group and also maximize the corporate value of SCL Science.”

Meanwhile, last year, SCL Science established a digital platform department composed of its own development personnel. This department is divided into ▲Data Science business division ▲Healthcare Service business division ▲Solution business division, each responsible for IT development services, MyOneCare app services, and imaging consignment services, respectively.
