Atomy Vice Chairman Do Kyunghee Donates 1 Billion Won to Sharing Campaign in Sejong City Atomy Vice Chairwoman Kyunghee Do

Atomy announced on the 15th that Vice Chairman Do Kyunghee donated 1 billion KRW, the highest individual donation since the establishment of the Sejong branch, to the Community Chest of Korea's "Hope 2025 Sharing Campaign."

Do Kyunghee became the first O-Plus member in Sejong, and together with Atomy Chairman Park Hangil, who joined as the first nationwide O-Plus member in 2023, they became the nation’s first O-Plus couple.

The Honor Society O-Plus refers to the top individual donors among Honor members, who are recognized as O-Plus members by donating 1 billion KRW individually.

Do Kyunghee has been known for supporting integrated assistance for single-parent families and scholarship programs for youth to promote the welfare of marginalized groups.

Last year, she also donated 5 billion KRW of her personal assets as scholarships to "ASOS Nanumhoe," a self-help group for Atomy members, and in 2022, she regularly sponsored 100 children through Korea Compassion, an international child sponsorship organization.

Since 2018, she has also donated scholarships for the children of the Atomy Customer Happiness Center, an outsourcing CS organization.

In 2021, Do Kyunghee received a commendation from the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy for her significant contributions to the local economy and welfare at the Regional Industry Promotion Merit Awards.

All nine members of Atomy Chairman Park Hangil's family are Honor Society members, making them the largest "Family Honor" in Korea.

In 2019, Atomy donated 10 billion KRW through the "Atomy Life-Cherishing MOM Fund," a Korean-style donor-customized fund. This was the largest donation ever made by a mid-sized company in Korea.

In addition, Atomy donated 10 million USD to Korea Compassion in 2021, and in 2022 donated 14 billion KRW and supported 10,000 children, continuing its philanthropic activities for children.

Atomy's donations are known to be the highest among network marketing companies, the distribution industry, and Korea's top 500 companies.

Meanwhile, Atomy’s average donation ratio over the past three years relative to sales is 1.8%, which is 30 times higher than the distribution industry average (0.06%).

The donation ratio in 2023 alone was 1.4%, ranking first among the distribution industry and the top 500 companies by annual sales in 2023.

Do Kyunghee stated, "Sharing is the process of passing on the blessings entrusted by God," adding, "It is not simply about exchanging material things, but about filling each other's hearts with love."
