Gwangju City Donates 1 Billion Won for Jeju Air Passenger Plane Disaster Relief

The city of Gwangju announced on the 15th that it had donated 1 billion won to the National Disaster Relief Association on the afternoon of the 14th to help the families of the victims of the "12.29 Jeju Air Passenger Plane Disaster."

This donation, prepared using the city's disaster relief fund, will be delivered to the victims and their families, and is intended to support recovery from damages caused by the accident as well as psychological and economic rehabilitation.

Mayor Kang Gijung expressed, "We extend our deepest condolences to the families of the victims who lost their precious lives in this accident," and added, "We will do our utmost to help them regain stability in their lives."
